I own a vw90 and it supports discrete on/off.
You can use the "VPL all models" from the Philips database and it includes the discrete on/off.
I would be surprised if the vw95 didn't work with the same codes, if it doesn't you can contact Sonys pro support and they'll set you up with the hex codes.
