I have a couple MX-5000s that will occasionally lose wifi connections. The WiFi indicator shows full green bars, but it doesn't communicate. This happens when the remote is lifted from the charging station, but happens very infrequently. I don't think that it is the removal from the charging station, but that the remote wasn't in use for several hours or more.

WAP is an EnGenius EAP9550. Most of the access to the WAP is from the remote, but it is also accessed by a laptop and an Ipad. The MX5000s use Wifi (not bidirectional) as well as IR/serial/relay via RF and a MSC400.

To fix I can do a "battery reset" (remove and replace battery) and once its done coming back up the MX5000 works fine.

My question is, what can I do to fix this? Is there a setting on the Engenius or the MX5000I can make to keep this from happening? If not, is there a way to program a button on the MX5000 to do a wireless reset?
