I believe they have 2 people in that department. They are not going to have everything under the sun in their database. If you have the hex codes, it is very easy to add to your program. If it is a device you use often, you can create your own template with the hex codes already programmed in to speed things up. The reality of it is that they have a very extensive database and it is fairly well put together and easy to use. It is easy to add your own codes via learning directly, importing hex codes, or importing full ccf files.
