I need to upload from older MX850 to my laptop so that I can download to a replacement MX850 remote but the upload to laptop fails due to error code 100-07uu-0000 "the port setting is incorrect (Communications Menu)" also states "error detected while communicating with your remote". Replacement remote & wiring was not previously used.

I have read all of the older posts that appeared to have no resolution. Am hoping that there was a fix by some bright person but perhaps just forget to let the forum know.
