Since white is the most commonly installed color we continue with that in most of our retrofit work. We seldom use white on remodels and new construction since there will be a interior designer involved in selections. I keep a box of the Lutron color sample rings for them and the Legrand Unity plates have been hot sellers this year also. I have one designer that has only used Lutron Palladium for about the last two years and one that only uses Biscuit so I have quite a collection of those left overs. Lt Almond is most common where Lutron plates are not in the budget. And as 39 said, there is almost always a follow up visit to get all the plates the right color in the end due to changes.
