Hi Richard,

First off have you made sure it is running the latest software/firmware? I found this at the Marantz US site

[Link: us.marantz.com]

Or on here in the files section

[Link: files.remotecentral.com]

I've always found the files on remotecentral to be the most up to date. Update the remote and then see how you get on.

Otherwise I had some luck using the PowerMid extenders for learning RF/sending IR and I wonder whether if you tried the "IR to RF" part of a PowerMid so that your remote sends IR to that part then translates it to 433 MHz and your Philips LI910 receives it as 433MHz and translates it back to IR. I know you then have the hassle of the PowerMid having to be in line of sight of your remote but could be worth a think.

I don't know enough about your other questions to help. Sorry.
