Can anyone please tell me if it is possible to identify my RC9500 as a US or European model. The label in the battery compartment says RC9500/U1S.

The background is that I've just purchased this on eBay, upgrading from a RU950. To start with I've used pcfSwitcher to convert my config to run on the RC9500. I also use an LI910 RF extender as my equipment is in another room, but only IR commands are currently being recognised from my RC9500. My first thought is that I've bought a US version, hence my question.
