yes this can be done. you need to connect it to an ethernet switch. do not connect it to the network in the home unless you are using a URC MAC filtering switch. the analog inputs are accessed by using the stream command, followed by the stream number, then enter. The audio streams are sent onto the network, and then come back into the amp via the same network connection. So if you don't have a switch installed, it won't work at all, even though you will be using only 1 amp.
I've got 3 DMS100 amps used in this configuration. They are all connected to the same network switch which is independant of the main network. They can all share the analog inputs across the network. it works out pretty nice.
