I stated in the contract that an iPad would be needed, he hadn't bought one so I barrowed my friend's and used it for a few months. He wanted it back so I took it and let everyone know. This morning his CFO had a bit of a cow and said she was positive I was providing the iPad. I showed her the contract, talked to the owner (he is fine with getting one) but she insists on being ...I even said "Cut me a check and I will go get an iPad right now.
Everything all set- wanted to share my solution.
Did I read it right, did you say that you had this iPad installed on the job for a few months and then pulled it out because a friend wanted his iPad back? Letting a client see how it works for a couple days or a week is one thing. I can easily see why they would think it was theirs if you had it in place for a few months. The service contract alone should more then pay for an iPad in the first 6 months, that is if you sold them a service contract.
