Even if it's not a lot of money people need to learn that is not a proper install. If you point it out/fix it they wont allow it next time.
I think someone mentioned earlier in the thread that the owner probably got exactly what he wanted for the price he wanted to pay.
None of us would ever do an install like this, but I doubt the owner was willing to pay what it would take to do it right. A proper installation with quality mount, electrical outlet installed by licensed electrician and hidden low-volt would cost as much as the TV.
