I'm perplexed by this thread.  No hex for the MX-5000?  Need to buy a MRX-1?

IP commands support Ascii, Hex, and Decimal in TCP & UDP.  I haven't needed to use hex, but it is there.

Why would you need a MRX-1?  The MX-5000 remote is IP capable and doesn't need any base station for IP control.

I'm using a MX-5000 along with a MSC-400.  I use the MSC-400 for IR & RS232 duties, but all the IP control is direct MX-5000 to WAP to device.

Sorry for bringing up a somewhat old thread, but I was wondering what I missed.
