I've been using an mx-700 for several years and am finally looking into an upgrade. I'm considering the mx-780, mx-880 and mx-980. I've looked over the owner's manuals on URC's site but they are a bit sparse so I was hoping someone could help answer a few questions regarding all three remotes. (BTW, I know the software isn't readily available from URC and to find an authorized dealer that will include it.)
Can any button be a macro or only the screen buttons?
Can custom graphics be loaded for the screen labels? Do they come with some graphics?
How is the speed changing pages on the screen?
I see the 780 and 880 have 8 pages per device. If more pages are needed is it possible to link a button to a fake device with more pages?
Does the 780 have a motion sensor to turn on the screen? Seems like a nice feature.
The 880 and 980 have been out for 3 or 4 years, is there anything dated about them?
Anything else in general I should know about before deciding?
