Thanks. It seems that when I pick it up with a dark screen that is when it can't connect. And, when I can't connect, the wifi indicator has a red "x" on it, indicating no connection. It re-establishes one 10 or so seconds after being picked up. It would be nice if it could just stay connected.
One thing I will do is set up a constant ping and see how it is behaving from the network side.
It just seems that if I set it to stay connected for 1 hour, it should be able to do this and not drop the connection or need to reconnect every 55 secs. It seems like a poor implementation on Philips part that could be fixed with firmware, but, of course, will not be.
I may just go back to IR. Right now, I am just using Ir anyway. My extenders are in place. Just one of them is not well situated.
