Other than going into the IR/232 DB and filtering by device type, brand, model...not that I'm aware of. Also note that many DB files will work across multiple models for a brand; i.e. if you can't find a code set for an avr-3312? Use the one for 3311, for instance. Also, at the bottom of each model's command set there are vague model references; i.e. Sony 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. The higher the number, the newer the code set. So you can try those as well as mix and match from multiple code sets to get the job done. Plus, if you can't locate a code set, you have the ability to import a device file or pronto hex and obviously learn them the old fashioned way.

Speaking of 3312 and '11 models; every video tutorial I've seen shows importing all the codes. Do you guys normally do that, or do you just select the few buttons you'll end up using on the remote?

Also, do you end up cleaning the project file and deleting the pages that you won't use, or just hide them?
Not sure there is any performance benefit in deleting pages.
I remember in the Pronto days the file would get pretty large, sometimes exceeding memory space. Also keeping several versions with 10-20Meg files for each client was eating into HDD space on the laptop or cloud limits on the Dropbox.
