This posting should be in the Philips Pronto Classic forum you should get more help there! An easy mistake to make when you have the RC9200 and this is the forum for the TSU9200. Your RC is based on the TSU6000 for future reference.
I'm sure you can ask a moderator to move it for you.
As far as help goes, did you do the calibrating with a finger or something else. There were issues on some Pronto remotes where it was suggested to use a stylus or object with a plastic point to press the screen.
If that doesn't help then I can't offer anythig more. No doubt others can make suggestions.
