You'll need to do some manual programming to make this work.

Use setup code Audio 1257, and then assign 5 digit EFCs using the 994 command. The EFCs for a VHT510 (which is a superset of the 215) are listed in this recent thread.  For example, to assign the EFC for Vol+
1) Tap Audio (make sure that 1257 has already been assigned to it)
2) HOld Setup until 2 blinks
3) Enter 994 (2 blinks)
4) Tap Setup
5) Enter 00169
6) Tap Vol+
The remote should blink twice.
