I am a Crestron programmer and have been attempting to take control of a Lutron homeworks processor that controls an appartments window shades.
So far I have been unsuccessful. The lutron programmer has set up what she calls "phantom key pads" that raise and lower shades.
Using a program called viewport (a form of hyper terminal) I am able to send the string:
KBP,1:6:11,9
Lutron sends back:
L232>
KBP, [01:06:11], 9

DL, [01:04:03:24], 25.00

KLS, [01:06:11], 010100001000000000000000

so this looks to me like proper serial dialog according to the protocol
as the lutron programmer has stated to me that button 9 on keypad 1:6:11 is supposed to lower shade control 1:4:3:24 to 25% but nothing happens.
When she pushes this "phantom key pad button" sometimes the shades actually work
I think I am using the proper command string and I obviously have serial communications occurring so naturally I believe the prob lies on the lutron side of the equation--but I want it to work and the Lutron programmer seems a little lost
