thanks AV Greg, so it seems I need one more device to have a great system. Well, the iPhone is not $500 but the iPad 2 is :) turns out the ough the online apps get you started for a low price, then upsell many different ways so not quite that cheap
Would love to have someones opinion on the app at roomieremote dot com

I guess many thousand in, what is a few $'s more on one more piece of hardware?
