1- You need a MRX-1 you only have half of a system. Using an MX-5000 with an I.R. repeater is silly and is also the reason nothing works in 3D. The IR blaster that controls the 3d glasses in 3D is flooding the repeater system. That is why you use RF.
2- A $19 Iphone app does not control anything without the $500 iphone
