Want to bring up an old thread. I have been using a mx980 to control everything. Upgraded to a MSC-400. I imported the Remote Control Devices and the receiver that was being controlled via IR I now want controlled by Serial. Is there a method to change the receiver to Control VIA IR to Serial or do I have to delete it from devices and recreate one as Serial in CCP? Kinda a pain to do it since I have AVR, AVR-Zone2, AVR-Zone3. Thanks all and I have taken all the training courses on the MSC-400 and the MX980 and none of them mention this scenario.
