The MX-780 looks nice. I assume it does not come packaged with a MRF base station for RF so that will add to the cost.

What's the difference between the MRF-260 & MRF-350? Both appear to be compatible base stations.

I assume the MX-780 is USB. I couldn't find a definitive answer on that (don't want to go back to serial!).

The MX-880 does not have the dedicated colored hard buttons so that's out for me.

I couldn't find a picture or much information on the MX-1200 so I'll have to wait and see information about that one.
