Thanks for that info, I'm trying to find info on their IR, we'll have to see if they publish API's for developers to use. I did see that it has a Dijit app (?), but some of the reviews are badmouthing it (first release so not really a surprise). It's really going to be interesting to see who will be first to 'open' up their IR port for developement. I wonder if there will be a Dijit app for the Sony tablet?

It looks like these companies have a long way to go, I found this in a review:

"With that in mind, Motorola has added an IR transmitter, like the Sony Tablet S. This works in cahoots with the pre-installed Dijit app. Dijit was originally designed for use with the Griffin Beacon, but worked without fault on the Xoom 2.

You can program in your controllers for various devices, but the interface and the process isn't as advanced as Sony's solution, which has a dab more polish and is easier to set-up."
