I've been using PDAWin's TV Remote Control 3.1 on an old Toshiba e310 for years. Its time to update. The first main feature I want is direct support for my PS3 without having to use the PS2 IR receiver connected to a USB adapter as I currently do. Must support macros, have a customizable interface.

I plan to buy my own hardware, so I'm really looking for just a software solution for an Android tablet. Right now I'm leaning toward the Samsung Galaxy tab 7.7 when it gets released. At 7.7-7.8" I think the size will be about perfect and I'm familiar with the tech in it having the Samsung Galaxy S II phone. This tablet is planned to have Ir built in.And with a dual core 1.4 processor should be up to handle any feature in second screen enabled movie.

I've used MX-3000 for awhile while learning and teaching local audio shop installers how to work it and loved that remote. Had it for about 18 months before it was time to return it. Based on that having toggle variables would be a big plus for a few devices I still use with no discrete codes.

I've scanned through the Android Market and didn't really see anything that looked like what I want.

If you know of any solutions please let me know.
