What is your list of equipment you need codes for?

Have you looked in the files section to see if your equipment's codes have already been capured by someone and used in their CCF? In which case you can import the codes in your CCF.

It might also be possible to get the codes by downloading and installing ProntoEditNG and getting the codes from PCFs (with your equipment that might be in the file section) by cutting and pasting the codes from ProntoEditNG and into ProntoEdit.

I don't know if ProntoEdit has a built in database or you could use the inbuilt database in ProntoEditNG to generate the codes and copying and pasting those into ProntoEdit and testing if they work. That would be a fair amount of work.

Can the Axim learn from the remotes of your equpment into the PDAWin remote program? ie can it learn "play" from your original remote onto a "play" button on the Axim. If it can are you able to save/export the CCF from the Axim? If you can, open the CCF in ProntoEdit and see if the learnt code is on the button in ProntoEdit. If that works, simply make a blank CCF with pages with blank buttons for all your original remotes, learn the buttons onto the Axim, save the CCF and open it in ProntoEdit and work from there. The PDAWin website says you can learn up to 30 devices so it looks like it should work

Not sure how feasible that all is but worth a try.
