Thanks for the replies. Since my OPPO takes a while to power on/off, I used variables to track its power state: not a huge deal, but it is fun to use the remote.

I had one more question: is there a "good" way to program a TiVO? I one a TiVO HD, and am currently using code 117. The problem is there is a small amount of lag of buffering when I press the same button in a row (for instance the "up" cursor in a menu). In that instance the URC isn't as responsive as the original remote. I tried adjusting the repeats without much luck.

Anyone else have this issue, of a solution?
