Film that makes negatives? Diapositive film?
Unexposed (at least, until you take it out to do this)?
Exposed to dark light, then developed, so basically clear? Since we're dealing with IR, something that looks clear to our eyes might be opaque to IR, so a bit more info would help.
Exposed to some general color, then deveoped, so that to our eyes it looks like __________?
