No fix that I know of. Audioreview.com has post from many who have lip sync problem with the Sony. I had it. Returned it for the Toshiba 3109.
It depends on who you talk to at Sony. Some will act like they've never heard of a problem with their DVD, others acknowledge it.
Their advice was to hit the stop button and then play again.
