I got my hands on the 780 today. I love the weight and feel of it in my hand. It feels like it is nearly double the weight of the MX900.....probably less....but it feels solid.

I like the button layout and the size, spacing, and tactile feel of the buttons. The remote looks good. Not flashy...it means business. No frills. No glossy fingerprint attracting surfaces.

I have one complaint. The size and brightness of the screen is kind of disappointing. I know I should not have expected MX880 quality at this price point, but I feel like the LCD screen on the 780 is nearly worthless in comparison to the MX900.

I can see us using the 780 as an emergency piece in the cases where we simply cannot talk clients into the 880 or even the 900. Look at the margin on the 900 vs. the 780 and you will see what I mean.

I am more excited about the 1200 now though. We can replace our demo MX6000 with one hopefully! :)
