Using Javascript and the CommandFusion JS API to create an irregular grid for a TV Guide.

On the back end, guide data is retrieved from tmsdirect via an executable I wrote. The data is shuffled off to a sqlite database once per day (14 days worth of guide info)

Then the series identifier is ran agains thetvdb's (for series) and IMDB (for movies) API and that additional information is placed in another table in the database. Artwork is downloaded from the TVDB/IMDB to the local server.

On subsequent updates, existing entries in the database are not re-requested from TVDB or IMDB.
