Thanks for the confirmation and thoughts. I think its shameful of CBC to take this step backwards when most lower-budget broadcasters are merrily at 1080i. Like I said, I saw it immediately and I don't have eagle eyes. I guess its a case of living in the age of quantity and not quality. Tragic...
