I just put in one of those 70" Sharp sets yesterday, had the ethernet cable plugged in and did the setup. It showed the name of the domain and the control port as 1001 if I remember correctly.

So IP control via RTI XP series processors would be an easy thing? I usually just do IR for ease of control since we only usually just turn on the set and pick an input. Sounds like it could be easier than IR.
