Just to expand, if it's NOT possible to change the IR code on your equipment, then you would need an RF remote with addressable IR outputs - such as the 900 or 1000 (but not 1100).

The RF extender is where the ports are assigned, not the remote. The H1100 ports are assignable- the box at the bottom left corner needs to be checked and after pressing Next, the assignments can be set.
