Just to expand, if it's NOT possible to change the IR code on your equipment, then you would need an RF remote with addressable IR outputs - such as the 900 or 1000 (but not 1100).
I wouldn't touch the 1000 with a 10 foot pole the 1100 is far superior to the 1000, and has been relatively trouble free, aside from the fact that it doesn't support Sequences, the 1000 has been recked with problems, none of which have been addressed or fixed.
