I too am disappointed and frustrated over the recent loss of CHCH (my "superstation" lol). I've also been trying to catch channel 67.1 but it doesn't even show up on the radar.
I wanted to ask some of the experts: I have a DB8 VHF/UHF antenna high atop my roof peak in north-west Brampton. With the exception of 11.1 and 67.1 (the two actual VHF channels) I can grab all the Buffalo and Toronto channels with good reliability. I think 26.1-.4 is the weakest, with ION channels second weakest but pretty regular.
My preamp is a CM 777 (I think, or a 776) - its only a UHF pre-amp. I'm considering swapping that for a good VHF/UHF preamp to see if I can pull in 11.1 and 67.1 but because some folks have said CHCH drastically cut their strength does anyone think I'd even have a chance of pulling that in from where I live?
