Ask them when the OG installer configured the system and if it ever worked. I say this because 4-5 years ago jandy had some serious QC issues with the rs232 adapters. Some would blurt out some crazy things in HT. I mean, things thAt would make you think it had a mind of its own. I'm sure a few CI's remember.......
Unfortunately Jandy didnt stand behind their product, and refused to replace them. As of now they are rock solid. *knock on wood*
