I'm not sure what you mean. Onkyo receivers can toggle power to On or Standby, and can also respond to discrete signals Power On or Standby. Setup code 30842 sends the discrete code for Standby.

Onkyo receivers use NEC IR protocol, device 210, and subdevices 108 and 109.
The Comcast setup code 30482 sends sub 108, while 30135 sends sub 109.

Fully controlling an Onkyo receiver require you to combine the capabilities of the two setup codes.

However, you can get basic control by using setup code 30135. To get Power toggle to work, assign EFC 00051 to the power button, while the remote is temporarily using setup code 30842.
First assign setup code 30842 to AUX, then
1) Tap Aux
2) Press Setup until 2 blinks
3) Enter 994 (2 blinks)
4) Tap Setup
5) Enter 00051
6) Tap Power.
The remote should blink twice.
Now assign setup code 30135 to AUX.

Edited to correct my mistake. See post 5 and 6 below.
