system builder is a mess if you let it build for you. then yes its difficult to make changes.
i use system builder but i do not let it built pages for me.
i use my own templates, build, map, and put in my own logic from scratch.
i don't let system builder make any decisions . . .
This isnt exactly true, it just takes time to learn and understand how SB and templates work, without any documentation on how to.
I have developed my templates and have found ways to work within SB and build decent sized systems very quick and custom. I will post some screen shots of the GUI that I use and every IR code populated exactly how I want it, I have icons for source select instead of lines of text, my handhelds can control any zone in the system, my guy matches from one interface device to the other, and none of them look like usual SB destiny programs.
This disappoints me too about the plx3. Being patient sucks.
