gman - if it is set properly and you used the portforward.com program (which i have never used, neither the pgm nor the site) properly then it is busted.
on the other hand if you posted some screen shots of the configuration of the dlink as a double check it might be worth your while.
assuming you power cycled the dlink and confirmed the settings stuck.
try a different port such as the unassigned 28245
