Since Berkline is no longer around does anyone have a line on these motors. I have one that went bad because the customer uses the damn chair as a bed. I've emailed the Chinese manufacturer but I'm not holding my breath.
Have you googled 'linear actuator' to see what you'll find? There are hundreds of different kinds and they should be easy enough to retro-fit.
