I just finished up a programming job where there were a few of these installed.  Same codes as the SA boxes.  No discretes, and the power workaround doesnt work with them.  You either need some sort of voltage/video sensor, or instruct the client to leave the box on at all times, and show them where the power button is in case of a power failure.
