So you really want to never be able to control the power on any other device? That doesn't make any sense to me. But if that's what you want, you need to put a macro on the power button with the steps "TV, Power". Then TV power will be sent in all modes. You could also keymove TV power into all modes. This remote works differently than most one-for-alls, so I'm not sure what the macro/keymove programming possibilities or procedures are.
Why can't "watch tv" handle it?
