I don't understand why you can't determine which code does what. It either works or it doesn't. I read in the manual you have to press the remote for 6 seconds for the LAN, WIFI 1 and 2 for them to change. Have you tried that?

I also don't get why they don't learn from the original remote.

When learning are you pressing the button for about one second? A short press is best.

Are you using the software to learn or just the remote?

Do you get a response at all in the IR Code window when using the software?

I would have thought INFO would be easiest to find. The display should show if correct. The INFO (display) may not work with HDMI. It would be best to test with the AV Input (composite cable) connected.
