Sony hasn't changed the IR signals needed to control things like volume or power. That's why you can't find setup code specifically for the Bravia-- all Sony TVs use the same IR signals.

Are you sure that you have the correct setup codes? There is nothing universal about setup codes-- each remote manufacturer has their own numbers, so finding a setup code for Sony on the Internet is only useful if it is a setup code for your RCA remote. Also, RCA doesn't actually manufacture anything, and just attaches the brand to the remote. So a setup code which works with one RCA may not work with a different model.
