The Menu button in code 603 brings up the VIA menu on the bottom, but when the TV remote is in bluetooth mode the Menu button goes straight to the HDTV Settings menu. In IR mode the TV remote goes to VIA, so there may not be an IR command to jump to the HDTV Settings menu.
I have the same behavior on my XVT423SV. I was able to get different IR codes for the Via Menu button and the Menu button. Menu is the one listed here (EFC = 171, Function/OBC = 67) while Via Menu is a new one (EFC = 88, Function/OBC = 45). Neither one goes directly to the HDTV settings menu, though.
I would really like a button to go straight to the HDTV settings - any suggestions?
I've tried every code here on their own.
Could it be combinations of buttons? I've tried quite a few (i.e., Menu->Menu; Menu->Via Menu; Menu->Setup; etc.), but haven't even remotely tried them all.
After that, I guess I need to try more unlisted codes...
Ah ha! Found it - it's EFC = 42, Function/OBC = 79. Also, it works in any Input not just TV.
