Let's program another button to send Power On. The Live button is nearby, and I'll use that as an example, but most other buttons will work.  The Power button and the device mode buttons can not be re-assigned.

We're going to assign an EFC to the Live button, and it will send the Power On IR signal. Start by tapping the TV device button.
1) Press Setup until the TV button blinks twice
2) Enter 994 (2 blinks)
3) Tap Setup
4) Enter 00053 (this is the EFC for Power On)
5) Tap the Live button
The remote should blink twice to indicate the entry was accepted.

Now pressing Live should send Power On.

We can use this approach to assign any function to a button, so if you want to adjust keystone, magnify, or access the menus, etc. follow the above procedure using
