Wow, sorry to jump in midstream, just read this thread start to finish. Just a couple clarifying questions that I couldn't piece together

I have always just used the learning function to put the most used funtions of all my many components on one keypad (or more).

I was up all night last night trying to learn keys and not getting why it would stop learning til I found this great forum.
