It is a nice thing to have as we had it in our showroom for a while. The downside to this is that once you power off the projector you loose the ability to control the room/house until the countdown is done.
If i remeber correctly you go to the properties of the projector and in extenders there is "Power ON/OFF Timout". Select that and then you are able to assign the timeouts for each event. Link the corresponding subpage to each event and then tie the gauges to the Timout time for each event.
Like I said it is a nice thing to have but is also a pain when you want to control lights or music within the room but have to wait for the timeout to end before you gain control on the TP.
