There are different kind of dealers that sell URC products. Some charge more because they are willing to later support their customers after the sale. Others discount and when they do they can not or are not willing to provide support after the sale.

If you bought your remote at the lowest price that you could find then that is the risk that you took when buying it at the cheapest price.

I am a dealer who does charge more because I do provide and help my customers after the sale. Unfortunately, I am reluctant then to provide free support of any kind and help the customers of other dealers who sold or bought at the lowest price. When I do this then this only helps perpetuate the system where people go out and buy products at the lowest cost and are only concerned with support after the sale.

Hopefully, you bought your remote from an authorized dealer who because they did not discount the price to the bone and is capable of helping and supporting you.
