I have had my expensive TV remote for a few years now and has been working great until recently.

A couple of buttons barely works anymore.
You have to really push hard and longer and maybe it will work.

I have opened it up and cleaned the PC board pads and button pads with Acetone but it did not help.

I have tried using the 'Rear window defrost repair kit' before on another remote and it didn't seem to work well.

This remote was not cheap so I wouldn't mind paying the $25 or so to get the 'Remote repair kit'.

Does it work better then the Window repair kit?
