Then probably the setup code for the Mitsubishi receiver was added as a custom upgrade at the factory, and has now somehow been erased. I believe that the URC-6050 did not have any Mitsubishi IR protocols built in.
Probably you'll need to get a universal remote. UEI manufactured remotes which carry setup code Audio 1393 include OneforAll URC -8820, RCA RCRP05B, and the Atlas remotes provided by many cable companies.
